Script Frenzy is a challenge to write a 100 page script in a month. AND I DID! I thought script writing would be way harder than NaNo but it was ridiculously easy. I only had writer's block like three times. I didn't even have to figure out the format because Celtx does it all for me. It was really fun and way less frustrating than NaNoWriMo was. So anyway, I will write more hopefully tomorrow, but here are a list of my Scriptisms (fun typos):
KATE

Or, you know, in her purse.
In the forest, a big square of ground is surrounded by crime scene tape. Police and forensic people mill around, doing forensic stuff.
I don’t really know what I’m talking about.
He roughly turns Kate around and coughs her.
This is how cops apprehend suspects: They cough on them! Or they could cuff them. Either one.
KATE
The blast is just going to riddle him with little hills…
I would like to see that. It’s actually going to riddle him with little holes.
He gives her a card. Kate winches.
I was deciding between using “flinches” or “winces”. I guess my mind split the difference.
KATE
I’m going to talk to Ivanov first and figure out what’s going why.
And then she’s going to figure out when’s going where!
She takes out her phone and starts to text Alex.
Dear God, who is Alex? WHO IS HE? This random Alex just showed up and took Asher’s place!

Ha ha, this made my script all of a sudden sound like some existential philosophical teleplay. It’s supposed to say “they exit.”
So, I hope you enjoyed that and I will be back with my commentaries soon. I think I'm going to redo The Host, since I started beaking it before I really got into the swing of things.
