Script Frenzy Day 1

Today, Screnzy starts! I have this cool program called Celtx that does all the formatting for you so I have to have almost zero knowledge of the actually script making process, which is how I like it.

I had weird dreams last night. I think they were fever dreams because they were so weird and rapid.

Dream 1:

I had this weird dream that Grandma was directing a movie or something and it was filming in my room and Skinner was there and I was telling him what a big fan I was and how he was my favourite recurring character on The X-Files. Then he got this freaked out look on his face and left, and I was like, "aren't you flattered?" and he's like, "no" and I was like, "why?" and he's like, "I can't learn my lines!" and then he left and I was like, "shit. I forgot to get one of my box sets autographed."

Also there was this big thing where we had to buy a bunch of food for the actors and this took like, hours apparently.

Dream 2:
I was watching Matchmaker and it was one I had seen before and I was like, "I remember this! I think it actually turns out well." But it turns out the guy I thought was going on the date was the guy FINDING the date, and the date turned out to be an actor who looked exactly like Ricky Gervais. The guy was finding his friend a date by finding out which actor could play fetch with his dog the best. The Ricky lookalike dressed up in blackface and some kind of Shakespearean costume and apparently this was enough for him to be the winner. Then there was a weird sequence where the lookalike met the real Ricky Gervais and they were both really confused.

I had a bunch more little ones but I can't remember them at the moment.

I also had an epiphany! There is a song on Ben Folds' new album called Hiroshima (B-b-b-Benny Hits His Head) (A play on Benny and the Jets) and when I first downloaded it I was confused because it was a live recording and I wanted the CD one. When I couldn't find it I figured they just had a random live recording. Then I was listening to it and realized that Ben was double tracked, so it wasn't live. This was like, weeks ago. Then in the shower, I realized that Benny and the Jets was made to sound like it was live but it was recorded in a studio, and Ben did THE EXACT SAME THING with Hiroshima! It was a strange feeling.
