Five Days to Christmas

My mom bought me these super warm black leather mittens, and she kept saying how expensive they are. She's still a little angry from when I lost one mitt on the day I got them and about losing my touque. And then I lost one of my black leather mitts. All day, I thought to myself, "mom is going to be so pissed off at me!" A day went by and I couldn't find it. Then, there was an announcement: "If anyone lost a black leather mitt, please come to the office."
I regard it as a Christmas miracle.

I really want to see "I Am Legend."

I can't wait until this week is over. It is going so slowly. I've been forced to skip class and not do my homework, etc, just to make this week bearable. Tomorrow hopefully we won't be doing much. There's a Christmas mass probably in the morning, and then a rock band concert in the afternoon. I would just skip at noon, if I WASN'T IN ROCK BAND. Damn.

I watched Stargate yesterday. It's a pretty good movie. Well, I wouldn't have liked it if I hadn't already been a Stargate SG-1 fan. If anything, now the pilot makes a lot more sense. The pilot of Stargate SG-1 takes place roughly one year after the events of Stargate, and it was like I had started watching in the middle of the season. Nothing made sense. Now I know why O'Neill and Skaara were such good friends, why Daniel stayed on the planet, I know about the dig at Giza (which they mention CONSTANTLY and I have no clue what that is) and I know the whole situation with Ra, and I know why Ferretti and Kawalsky make fun of Daniel all the time and I know why O'Neill was supposed to blow up the planet. Anyway, Daniel as played by James Spader and Daniel as played by Michael Shanks are EXACTLY THE SAME. They look and talk the same. In Youtube clips from Dragoncon, Chris Judge was talking about how everyone thought Michael Shanks was James Spader, and it's totally true. They look exactly alike. The O'Neil in the movie was way less likeable than the O'Neill in Stargate SG-1. I really didn't care if Kurt Russell died. And Ra was very feminine. He was slightly more awesome than Apophis, but way less awesome than Ba'al.

Anyhoo, I have to go back to school soon :( Ciao.
