French: We read this random story about a magic fish. The story was so confusing. Henri gets this big fish from the lake and is going to pretend he caught it in this big fishing contest. Then the fish is really mad and bites Henri, and then on the next page he loves Henri, and then for some reason the fish starts eating everything and gets fat and then on the next page he's skinny, and then Henri's wife gets jealous because he's spending so much time with the fish. Mr. Lamers had to leave to talk to Garth about Florian and was gone the whole period.
Bio: We were talking about calcium cycles and then Heidi starts asking about a black hole or something. It was very random. And then we were talking about the "what if there were as many bears as there were mosquitoes? And what if the bears were as big as mosquitoes?" thing.
Creative Writing: Our stories have to be three pages minimum, double spaced. I HATE double spacing, because its just stupid. Plus sometimes I forget and single space and its just dumb. AND I was already done my seven page single spaced story when I found out it had to be double spaced, but she told me that I could have it single spaced. I have hit writer's block with the alien story, and I read it over now and it doesn't make sense. I mean, first of all, the aliens planted cocoons on the earth, why would they send flying saucers filled with more aliens? And why are they bombing small areas of the earth? I sure don't know, and I wrote the story. But maybe I'm overestimating the intelligence of my audience. Maybe they won't ask those questions and will just be caught up in the excitement of the bombs. I have a lot of people dying from being blown up and slashed and whatnot, that maybe is not all that appropriate for Creative Writing 20. But I really am enjoying writing it. I think it currently has a 14A rating and it should be PG. Malerie is very stupid. We had to answer these stupid questions about theme in our idea journals, and Miss Graas put the questions on the board and she's like, "do we have to answer these questions?" The worst part is, when Malerie gives her explanation for why she said something so stupid ("I thought we just had to think about them") you actually find yourself thinking that she's rational.
Spare: All the French people except Lindsay and Kelsey left to study and we were all just talking. Lindsay asked what my story was about and I told her and felt really stupid, because it doesn't really have a point. There are aliens, and people dying, and old ladies with shotguns, and bombs, and UFOs, and then the aliens just kind of leave. But I like my story. It makes me happy. Then Lindsay had on a lei (it was Hawaii day today) and was like, "Mr. Lamers, wouldn't this be good to go to a rave in?" and I'm like, "like Mr. Lamers does every Saturday night" and he's like, "yeah, but I go to those ones with the mirrored balls" and we're like "disco!" and he's like, "yeah," and then he started discoing and was like, "Well you can tell by the way I use my walk..." except he wasn't singing it he was just kind of saying it. Mr. Lamers is really awesome sometimes.
Math: we had the dance. I wanted to go to the lib but we didn't. Instead, we hung out in the changeroom, and Sam asked me and Heidi if we were dykes.
Today the weirdest thing happened. I got home from school and there was a weird van with a veteran plate in the driveway, and I don't know any veterans except for Oopa and he has a car. Anyway, I got in, and there are two old people sitting at my table and dad isn't there. I said hi, and then got freaked out so I hid in my room. Then I heard them yelling to someone downstairs. I'm not sure what he was doing. Anyway, then dad came home and called me to the kitchen because someone wanted to talk to me. There's an old guy there, who said happy birthday, gave me twenty bucks, and hugged me. I have NO CLUE who it was. He said he was a cousin of my Grandpa which is no help because that could either be Geedo or Oopa.
I was watching Much Takeover and one of the contestants was from Estevan! Even though he didn't win any of the challenges, he was HILARIOUS! It made me happy to be Saskatchewanian. He got 70 percent of the votes.
Anyway, I should go. Ciao!

20 bucks is 20 buccks.
and black holes aren't random. it was completely relevant. she said that matter is never lost. but, if matter is lost through black holes, than obviously matter is lost.
