Just so you guys all know, I am not dead, only sick, ONCE AGAIN! The cold came back, but worse. The way I see it, next week I will get the flu and the week after will be pneumonia, and the week after cancer. I already have a pain in my back (not in my ass, as I do a lot) which COULD VERY WELL BE A TUMOUR!
Here is a list of what I watched today, and the numbers are how many episodes I watched:
Love Connection (2) This is a seventies game show where you have three potential suitors and after learning about them the contestant picks one to go on a date with and then they come back and talk about their date. It was very hilarious. There was one guy who ignored his date and talked to all these other girls and when the host asked him why, he said "cuz they were better looking than my date." And there was a guy whose sole standard for dating was that she have "big, beautiful hair".
Super Password (1)- another old game show that I watched because we have it on our old old computer and its super fun! But GUESS WHO WAS A CONTESTANT? PAT SAJAK, right at the beginning of his Wheel of Fortune success.
To Tell The Truth (1)- yet another old old game show where there are three people who pretend to be one person, but only one of them is. Hosted by none other than Alex Trebek, my personal hero. Partly because he hosts Jeopardy, but also because he is Ukrainian-Canadian. His real name is Giorgi.
Videoflow (3 or 4)- My new Much obsession. It has non popular music vids and old music vids that were popular.
Fandemonium (1)
Much on Demand (1)
Family Feud (1)
Okay, I was bored today (how could I be bored with Family Feud???) so I was making a list in my trusty notebook full of random crap. It was my favorite musicians for each instrument. So here is my list, and which song best shows off their abilities:

GUITARISTS:
Jimi Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix Experience)-Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave)-How You Remind Me
Dallas Green (Alexisonfire)-Day Old Hate
Claudio Sanchez (Coheed and Cambria)-Welcome Home
Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional)-Hands Down
Nick Thomas (The Spill Canvas)-Homesick
Ian D'Sa (Billy Talent)-Cut the Curtains
Eric Clapton-Layla
Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold)-Sidewinder

DRUMMERS
John Bonham (Led Zeppelin)-Can't remember what its called, but its a drum instrumental.
Keith Moon (The Who)- Who Are You?
Tre Cool (Greenday)-Holiday
Chuck Comeau (Simple Plan)-I'd Do Anything, because he has that intense drum roll thingie at the end.
Ginger Baker (Cream)- The Tale of Great Ulysses
Andy Hurley (Fallout Boy)-Sugar We're Going Down. I have tried to play that song, and its very difficult.
Brandon Saller (Atreyu)-Bleeding Mascara. Plus, the guy can sing and play drums at the same time! I can't even get all four of my limbs going.
Aaron Solowoniuk (Billy Talent) I can't think of any song at the moment, but I picked him because someone threw a hamburger at him and he pushed it off his snare with his drumstick WITHOUT BREAKING TIME! That is talent, plain and simple.

BASSISTS (no songs here)
Steele (Alexisonfire)
Clutch (Something Corporate)
Jack Bruce (Cream) He is absolutely amazing. I have a dvd of Cream in concert and his hands are going like, 100 k an hour.
Eero Heinonen (The Rasmus)
Pete Wentz (Fallout Boy)

SINGERS
Dallas Green (Alexisonfire and City and Colour)-Little Girls Pointing and Screaming, ...Off By Heart, No Transitory
The guy in This Day and Age-Seven Eighty
Patrick Stump (Fallout Boy)-Dance Dance
Michael Buble-Spiderman Theme
Amy Lee (Evanescence)-Hello
Brandon Saller (Atreyu)-The Crimson

PIANISTS
Ray Charles. What can I say? He's a fucking genius.
Andrew McMahon (Something Corporate)-Mulligan Goes To War. He's so talented and I want to play piano like him.
K-os. Yes, he plays piano and he is on this list because how many rappers incorporate piano?
Bryce Avary (The Rocket Summer) Because Never Knew is such an awesome song.
Val Emmich

LYRICISTS
Alex Varkatzas (Atreyu) Just look at the lyrics of A Vampire's Lament or Bleeding Mascara.
Pete Wentz (Fallout Boy)
Alexisonfire
Avenged Sevenfold
Nick Thomas (The Spill Canvas)

You know what is the SCARIEST THING EVER?
Three out of four people in Korn look like rappers (at least in the vid for Twisted Transistor they do. Unless I'm really stupid and they are rappers in their spare time? Just a thought)
Anyway, Munky looks EXACTLY like Snoop Dogg.
The bassist (I think) looks EXACTLY like Ice-T.
The singer looks EXACTLY like Lil' Jon, but the dude's real name is Jonathan so he may be a rapper in his spare time.
But now I'm finding out if they rap too and in the pictures on Wikipedia they all look white! So now I'm all confused and will stop talking about this at the risk of looking stupid if Munky is really Snoop Dogg, etc, or if in real life the guys don't look like that.
The video for Twisted Transistor is worth seeing, everyone.
I think I watched tv from 8:30 to four today. Yes, very sad. I had my life near me while I was on that couch all day: Lipsol, Kleenex box, Pepsi, Catcher in the Rye, and my Notebook that I have christened the Crap Notebook, because its full of my crap, as I stated before. I would hae had my discman, but the FOURTH ONE THIS YEAR has broken. So with my discman and cds, that would be all I need to live.
OH YES, another of my pet peeves:
Bands that are cartoons! Like The Gorillaz (what kind of name is THAT?), Crazy Frog (although that actually makes me laugh, the video for Popcorn is a gem), and Hampton the Hamster, which I HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF SEEING TODAY while I was bed (couch) ridden.
My top five music videos I watched today were (in no particular order)
1. Popcorn-Crazy Frog
2. Hey Its Your Funeral Mama-Alexisonfire
3. Twisted Transistor-Korn
4. Drive-Incubus
5. Better Off-Theory of a Deadman (deadman, cue shake of the head)
Oh yeah, Theory of a Deadman were on Much on Demand today and Tyler Connolly talks EXACTLY HOW HE SINGS. I know of only one other person that does that: Jon Foreman of Switchfoot. I think that's a weird phenomenon.
QUOTE OF THE DAY and then I have to get off:
"Everyone's black...in the dark!"-Jonathan from Korn
Ciao homie g!
