Yes indeedy, Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional. All day today I heard Heidi singing it to herself behind me in class.
Anyway, something I forgot to mention yesterday... I STARTED DRIVER'S ED!! WOOT WOOT!!! When I get my learner's I'm driving over to Katherine's and/or Maria's and we'll PARTAY!
So yes. I also had my first canteen excursion today. I was even in the announcements which made me happy. Amanda was hanging out with me and training me SINCE JONAS DIDN'T!! POO ON HIM!! But yeah, now it's all good, and I can even open and close the window myself! I am still not comfortable with my five cent candy skills but its getting better. One kid asked for 3 bucks worth of the little dinosaurs, which is SIXTY! I had to count THEM ALL OUT and I didn't even have a bag for that kid. I had a bunch of grade seven customers. It's so cute because they think they're so cool that they're buying stuff from the canteen, but now for us seasoned fifteen year olds, its nothing. It's also funny how they talk about locks and lockers and teachers and classes like French or English (stuff they didn't have in elementary) and think they're so cool. Which reminds me...today on the bus some grade seven thought they were being cool and was like "there's Mr. Ruetz, he's too cool to park with the teachers" or something, and it wasn't even Mr. Ruetz's car! Ryan was like "that's not Mr. Ruetz! We have to get this shit straightened out." This car was like an old red one, and Mr. Ruetz's is blue I believe. Weird.
OH MY GOSH! Today was a Wednesday wellness class (my favorite!) which means RUNNING! I thought the partner run was bad. Oh no. Today we had to do the Canada fitness run, which is 2.4 K or SIX LAPS AROUND THE TRACK! Amanda was counting for me and I came around and was like "please tell me that was my fifth," and she's like "no, its your fourth" and I'm like "no, it was my fifth! Wink wink!" and she's like "Okay" so I clocked in at like 17 minutes and some and really I only did five laps. But get this: I did five laps, and Mr. Anderson LAPPED ME TWICE! And the first time he went by me and was like "how are you doing Robin?" and I'm like "I'm dying," and he's like "oh, you're just a little tired." A LITTLE TIRED???? I WAS GOING TO COLLAPSE RIGHT THERE! But I'm not even sore, which could be a result of missing one lap, or maybe because I'M GETTING IN SHAPE!! SHOCKING!
Science today was also boring. We were learning about variables for like AN HOUR! I was really really bored so I painted my nails with pink highlighter. They are really pimpin.
I figured out how long the track is. It's 0.4 K. Which means I ran only 2.0 K. I'm so bad. But that is more running than I've done at one time in my life. Actually, it's probably the most running I'VE EVER DONE in my life. Wonky.
I have had no math homework for TWO WHOLE DAYS! Woot woot! I'm so happy! I can't wait till math with Mr. Farrell. That's gonna be deadly.
My pinky just cracked really wonkily.
So anyway, that is all for now. Oh yeah, in French we got the "bunny sheet" which is a sheet with a whole bunch of pictures of cats, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and dogs throwing or swimming or whatever and the name of the verb in French above them. I was bored so I made all their eyes red. It was fun. They look evil now.
