Music Festival Memories

I love Savin' Me. Megan said she met Nickelback and they're asses. She talks to me and Heidi a lot in IP (well, not a lot, but since I don't know her and think she's sort of stuck up, if she talks to us once its a lot)
I was trying to memorize Sonata in C-. I thought I was way behind, but I'm actually not. Here are the songs I'm playing and how far I need to go with them:

Spider on the Ceiling-I need to perfect the part at the end where I have to play two different chromatic scales really fast. And its the same thing over an over so I should be able to get it memorized.

Dance of the Marionettes-I need to touch up one part in the middle and its the same thing over and over so I should be able to get it memorized.

Sonata in C Minor-needs to be memorized.

Sonatina in G Major-Just a little touching up, and I might be able to get it memorized but I'm not holding out hope. I'm usually not good at memorizing sonatinas. I did last year and then forgot it at Festival and had to go back to my seat and grab the book. I felt so stupid. I still beat Chelsea Shewchuck though (Jessica and Lauren both got beaten by her, so it was my duty)

Mysterious Summer's Night-it's pretty much done, just need to memorize.

This Mood Suits Me-I think I was a bit too ambitious taking this one on. It has huge chords and I can't even get through the whole thing. I might have to drop it and that makes me sad. Heidi, give me a pep talk or something about this song. I need it.

Spanish Dances-this is mine and Lauren's duet. It's stellar (not). We've played it together only once, but I think its pretty good.

Since I'm talking about Festival, here are some music festival memories:

Danielle and I were sitting in the front pews after our duet and were sitting with the other duetters and I think it was Andrea from Wynyard (not saxophone Andrea, drum Andrea) slid on the pew and it sounded like she farted. All four of us (me, Danielle, Andrea, and her duet partner) started laughing but the adjudicator was judging and it was really really quiet and we were trying not to be loud but it was hard.

I was wearing my skirt with the flower on the front, and randomly I was like to Stacey "see this flower? It talks to me" and then we burst out laughing and everyone else was so quiet.

Just before we had to play our duet, I said one of our insiders to Danielle and we both were laughing and couldn't stop.

I was so nervous before my sax solo that I didn't eat breakfast and when it was really really quiet my stomach started growling, like, monstrously loud. It was horrible. I was like, clutching it so it would stop. I was so embarrassed.

Danielle and I had a sax duet and we played it so badly. We got like, 85 or something on it, which was weird.

Jessica drew a picture with a mountain with a pineapple on top of it or something, and it was called "The Mountain of Gay Memories"

Stacey, Danielle and I got 92 on our sax trio and got highest mark in the festival.

I played a song called March of the Buffoons and the adjudicator was like "this is a very stupid song" and he meant, that buffoons are stupid, and I was really taken aback. I thought I played it good. I ended up getting 89 and Best Canadian Piece for Intermediate.

Danny and Jessica kept messing up Spanish Dances and were laughing so hard at the piano.

This isn't Festival, but Lauren, Danielle, and I were playing our trio and Lauren's music fell down and she like, pinned it brutally to the piano and she started laughing, then I did, then Danielle did. It was bad. There is something about performing that makes you get the giggles really easily.

Anyway, I better go.

Okay, out of 54 episodes of 6teen I have seen 39. Pretty gnarly.
