GT

So I went to Saskatoon yesterday to see Stuart McLean. It was actually way better than I thought it was going to be. Jonas and Dad thought it was okay, Lindsay didn't think it was laugh out loud funny, but Mom and I loved it! They did this radio play thingy, and the main character is named Eggs, and Stuart was like, "and where is Eggs from?" and the person playing Eggs was like, "Eggs is from Foam Lake." My whole family started cheering. I think I started the cheering though. Then at a random time Lindsay was like, "yeah, Foam Lake!" She hasn't been to many concerts, so she doesn't yet know the appropriate times to yell things. I can't write everything here, I might expand my S'toon trip more later. All I shall say is I got back to Flake at 10:30 and didn't feel like driving the other hour so I stayed overnight in Flake and drove to Yorkton this morning and studied hardcore for the bio quiz which I didn't actually have today. Good times.

I was watching Murdoch Mysteries and one of the guys sounded EXACTLY like Kyle Schmid. I stopped and looked at his face to see if it was him with dyed blonde hair, but it wasn't. And today I was watching Blood Ties and one of the guys sounded EXACTLY like CSM, only I knew it wasn't actually him so the effect wasn't as good. But it took like five minutes to determine whether the blonde guy actually was Henry from Blood Ties.

Theodore people drive weird. I was driving home from Theodore and this guy turning left onto the highway went on the left side of the road DESPITE THE FACT THAT THERE WASN'T A TURNING LANE THERE. I wondered what would have happened if someone turned onto our road. I sure wouldn't have moved for that tool. Then this morning I was driving through Theodore and this guy was driving on the shoulder. I was going 110 and I wanted to pass him but I wasn't going fast enough and he was going at the same rate and I didn't want to speed up and then slow down right in front of him when he finally realized he wasn't supposed to be on the shoulder and then he pulled onto the road right in front of me so I had to put on my brakes and then he sped up to like 120 or 125 and drove off. WTF? Why?

I did my second gravel road pass, and passed a semi. How exciting! I was proud of my mad driving skillz. It took forever to get past him though. Semis are freaking LONG.

I leave for France the day after tomorrow. I'm pretty excited! I must remember EVERYTHING so I'm going to be writing everything down. I wish I could bring my laptop but I can't. I can't even play Hearts! Dammit!

I bought Eureka season 1 yesterday. It's in like, an eco-friendly box which is a good idea in theory, except the DVD holders are made of this styrofoam-esque stuff and the DVDs DO NOT stay in. They keep slipping out of the box. But I love Eureka, so I will endure. I love when TV shows have 2 hour premieres, because it's like watching a movie. I watched the pilot of Eureka, which is like a Eureka movie, and they have the Eureka webisode in the special features! Very exciting. Side note: Colin Ferguson is like 40 (this may be exaggerated) but he has a REALLY nice body.

Anyway, the bell's going to ring soon. I'm going to bounce. Ciao! <33
