City Life

Well, I am all moved in to Lindsay and Jonas's, and I got a new job at Broadway Cafe. They didn't even interview me, they just hired me like that. It was pretty cool, and they seem really nice. Broadway Cafe really is a world away from Triple T.

Anyhoo, Lindsay left yesterday to go to Nipawin, so it's just me and Jonas. Well, right now it's just me. He works until 3, so I have five hours to kill. My plan: watch TV, go on the computer, cruise Broadway (and check out Converse shoe store!) and get a watermelon smoothie. I'm planning on getting one EVERY DAY. It's so exciting. Jonas says we're going to go for a walk by the river after he's done work. I like hanging out with him more than Lindsay sometimes. He's more low key.

Had an interesting morning. First, I had a really scary dream. I was watching a remake of Casablanca, and then suddenly I was in it and it definitely wasn't Casablanca. More like...African Queen meets every serial killer movie you've ever seen. First, I was swimming in this lagoon. I was in a jungle or something. And then I went to bed but decided to sneak out and go swinging from vines. Then I felt like someone was there, but I couldn't see anyone, and then I heard crazy laughing, and then I was kidnapped, and forced to kill people for this killer. I had to kill some people that lived in what appeared to be the McKie house and I was so scared and I couldn't escape. Then, all the girls in my class (plus Kiera and Vicky, but I think they disappeared later) were kidnapped and he was picking who would be the next assassin for him, and it was always me because I was the best. Anyway, then he told me I had to kill the detective that was trying to find him, and this detective was Lennie Brisco from Law and Order, and he had on a Hawaiian shirt. Anyway, I had to pick my weapon, I think. I'm not sure. Anyway, there was a lighter and I picked it up and threatened the killer with it. For some reason, this scared him a lot. He picked up a gun but I knew that I was in control. I'm not sure how the lighter tipped the balance of power, but whatever. I threw two lighters and a lit match at him and he dropped the gun. Instead of say, grabbing the gun, or beating him senseless, I ran away. And then, I didn't take the car. I think I was scared of stalling it while he was chasing me. I ran away and hid in this shed that was full of wood and then I woke up.

So then I decided to have a shower. Their shower is very painful. This will, however, destroy my penchant for long showers. Anyway, I was getting dressed with the door open (no one was home) because the bathroom was way hot. I turned the fan off and thought (jokingly) "so I can hear the serial killers better" and then out of the corner of my eye I saw a head! It was so scary! But it was actually a garbage bag. I was so freaked out, especially after my dream. Then, I took out a necklace that Lindsay made me, and I hardly touched it, but it broke. Tiny beads went EVERYWHERE.

On X-Files season 6 and 7 there are games! They didn't work in my computer because the CD and DVD drives were the same one but in Jonas's computer, he has separate drives for CD and DVD. I started playing one but then there was this mini game and I had no clue what I was doing, so I couldn't advance. It makes me saddy.
