Ripped pants for five bucks is pretty good!

Okay, first of all, the departmental went okay. I was done in an hour and then I doodled because I didn't want to be done really fast and then Mr. Farrell will think, "she did really bad." About a half hour after I was done Tyler finished and then I handed my stuff in. Florian was in there for a long time, I was sure he would be done before me, or anyone else for that matter. Anyway, I only guessed on a couple, which was good.

I went to Melfort Monday night to see the grandparents. On Tuesday I cleaned cupboards and stuff, and read. I think I read 450 pages in a day, straight. It was crazy. I watched Beauty and the Geek that night and played cards (Grace and me against Grandma and Oopa. They won once, we won once) and that was about it.

Wednesday was a very good day. I went shopping! I bought:
A black shirt for ten dollars
Two pairs of leggings for five dollars each
A denim skirt for five dollars
A denim blazer (more on that later) for five bucks
Cross Bones by Kathy Reichs, who Bones is based on.

Okay, the denim blazer. It had a corderoy pocket and corderoy patches on the elbows, and I didn't like that. So I spent one hour and fifteen minutes stitch ripping them off. I had a stitch ripping accident, a result of which I have a scratch on my finger. The more I read that sentence, the less sense it makes. Anyway, I got the pocket and the elbow patch off, and I thought I was FINALLY done, when I caught sight of the OTHER elbow patch. And in the places where the patches were are big blue circles, since everything around it is faded. Oh well, I don't have the heinous corderoy on it anymore. I was quite proud of my domestic skills.

On the way to Dafoe from Melfort I wanted to sleep on the bus but I was too paranoid I would miss my stop. So I was SUPER tired on the way home from Dafoe and I slept. And usually I can't sleep for more than twenty minutes in the car, and I wake up everytime we slow down. But I'm pretty sure I fell asleep before Wynyard, and I didn't wake up until we turned onto the grid road, which is forty minutes. Now I am well rested. Sort of.

I have Maria withdrawal.
Ciao.
