Here was my day:
Bio: Malerie was a moron, as usual. Mrs. H told us our title for our new unit was "The Classification of Life" or something, and Malerie was like, "of life or light?" Then Mrs. H was asking us for stuff that is classified, and Malerie just yells out, "WOOD!" and we all kind of looked at her. Then I had to leave for guitar.
French: We heard this wonked up song called "Mon Pays" and it's a Quebec song. It goes like, "my country is not a country, it is winter, my road is not a road, it's the snow," and at one point he talks about how his dad built a house and he will be loyal to it, and he gets quite emotional at this point and practically yells the words. We also talked about verb tenses, and Mr. Lamers was like, "what stem would it have if it was conditional?" and I was like, "infinitive?" and he kind of looked at me, looked at the board, thought about it, and then was like, "no." It was quite funny, but no one laughed. Our French class is sooooo quiet. Then we had to listen to Mon Pays and fill in the blanks in the lyrics to test our comprehension and Mr. Lamers was like, "okay, what word went in there?" and no one said anything and I'm like, "um...bien?" It was actually batir.
CW: Kaleigh wasn't there (yes!) and Miss Graas talked to me about entering this radio play contest, the same one Lindsay went in. My play is going to be a mystery with people dying and stuff. Should be pretty sweet.
My computer just went offline for some reason. Anyway.
Math: Tyler got mad at Heidi (for some reason I just put Tyler got mad at Tyler) and I actually got what we're doing in math, and I finished the assignment before the bell rang!
Spare: Went to the lib, talked to Amanda, but a bunch of grade eights came in and needed the computer so I left and went to the art room. Worked on stuff.
House is on soon.
I just realized I can't go to Jesus Christ Superstar because it's on the 21st and I have a departmental on the 22nd. Whatever, I'm not that broken up about it. I remember when Menzie got tickets to Fiddler on the Roof and no one wanted to go so she took Amanda and some other people. There is no Yorkton musical this year, which makes me sad. But there's Maria's musical! I'm soooo excited to see it, and to see Chocolate. I'm going to a dinner theatre on the 28th with my family and Ian's family and that should be fun. Ian's family is so super nice that I'm convinced they are a family of androids. This will be the second time that our family meets with Ian's family, and I think we're jumping the gun a bit. Like, we're even meeting his freaking grandparents! It kind of weirds me out to tell you the truth.
It just occurred to me that two people read this blog. Just two. And yet I write. Just for you, Lisa and Heidi. Just for you. That sounds like a poem.
It just occurred to me
That two people read this blog
Just two
And yet I write
Just for you
Lisa and Heidi
Just for you
Anyway, I'm going to go now. Ciao!
