So, it's me. On Sunday I was working the smorg crowd with Linsey, our new waitress and my favourite so far. It was absolutely nuts. It was completely full. There were three huge tables, two of which I took. It was crazy. I got 20 bucks in tips, which was good. There was a big table and for no reason at all, they walked out and were like, "cancel our order." I think it might have been because the table wasn't wiped, but give us a break! They saw how busy we were! Plus, that's Floyd's job. It's also Floyd's job to go around with coffee but he was shirking his duties. Anyway, Linsey gave me 3 bucks to stay an extra five minutes when my shift was over to take food to a table of of old ladies.
Then Dad and I went to Greenwater Lake. I went for a ride in the boat with Ian, Dale, Dale's girlfriend, and his two cousins, one of which is EXACTLY like Vicky. EXACTLY. It was sooooooo scary. Then I went back out in the boat with Ian, Lindsay, my parents, and Ian's parents, who are super nice.
Then we went back and ate (I ate a LOT) and then we went to some guy's cabin and played the guitar. Dale was playing Tears in Heaven on Konstantine (amateur).
I was squished into Ian's new Jetta with Lindsay, Ian, Dale, and Kristen (I was in the middle, as I am the smallest) on the way up I was squished between Kristen and Ian, and on the way back I was squished between Kristen and Dale. Kristen was like, "it's more squished now," and Dale's like, "why?" and I'm like, "cuz you're so fat!" and Lindsay was like, "ROBIN!" but then Dale was like, "I guess she does have a right, I did burn down half her town." Then I can't remember what we were talking about, something about being friends, and Dale was like, "are you talking about me and Robin?" and he grabbed me and squeezed me so hard it hurt, which was REALLY weird beause I don't think I had talked to him previously (other than to call him fat. Which he's not). Dale's crazy. Then Ian said something about being emo and then we had this big discussion about emus.
Then that night we got to Grandma's at 1 in the morning, where I went straight to sleep and woke up at 10ish. We played cards with Grace and then we went to Saskatoon to pick up Oopa. Basically we went there, sat in the airport for half an hour, hanging with Uncle Terry and Madison, and drove back to Melfort where I went to bed. The next day I went to the library to take out some Dean Koontz books, where I found out we owed 54 bucks in late fees and I couldn't take out any books, which sucked.
Anyway, I'm going to Saskatoon today on the bus at 6:15 to stay there for a couple of days. Lindsay, Ian and I are going to the Ex tomorrow to see Bedouin Soundclash! I LOVE riding on the bus! Jessica told me last time she rode on the bus she sat by this hot emo guy who didn't like any good music (by mine OR Jessica's standards, which are really different) except that he went to a City and Colour concert, but when Jessica told him I had gone to see City and Colour and Dashboard, he didn't know who DC was. So my point is, I wanna sit by a hot emo guy, but with my luck I'll be sitting by an old lady who wants to show me pictures of her cat. Not that old ladies are bad, I mean, Grandma and Grace are pretty swinging people.
I just got reminded of when I was at West Ed and sitting on the bench waiting for Stacey, Molly, and Lisa to come out of Le Chateau, when I threw a penny into the fountain and wished for a hot emo guy and one was walking toward me and I thought he was going to sit down but he just walked by, although we did make eye contact. It was pretty awesome.
Grandma is taking care of Tracy's fat cat Lucy. Yesterday morning I was in bed downstairs, debating whether to get up or not, when I heard the cat yowl and Mom yelling, "I'M NEVER TOUCHING THAT CAT AGAIN!" When I got up I found out all they were trying to do was get the harness on Lucy so she can go outside. It took three people to get her into her harness, and some injuries were suffered (mainly scratches, although the cleaning lady got bitten so hard it drew blood. She sure got more than she bargained for when she came to clean the house that morning!)
So I guess that's all I need to write. Ciao!
