Here is how my day went:
Bio: Mrs. Halldorson is really really scary. She gets so excited over tapeworms.
French: We were studying up our vocab, and Mr. Lamers asked me if I wanted to join yearbook. Actually, he was like, "Robin, come talk to your old teacher," and I followed him out as I was frantically trying to think of what I did wrong this time. But it was just yearbook.
Creative Writing: Basically, we got two cue cards. One one we wrote stuff about ourselves (I wrote about guitar and piano and my favourite authors and stuff) and one the second we had to write our favourite things and things we hate. I wrote "some of my favourite things are my acoustic guitar (Konstantine), my electric (Atreyu), my two friends from Theodore, the Internet, my MP3 player, and my cds." Then we had to say our names and an interesting fact, and I said I got my tongue snipped, then I had to stick it out and people were looking at me funny.
Band: we had jazz, but there was just Gillian, Damien, and myself. Miss Menzie kept saying how I had so much talent and I could be so good if I only practiced. She was like, "you didn't practice over the summer?" Gillian's reply was, "People practice over the summer?" I don't think I've practiced at home since...maybe grade six. Anyway, I'm switching to guitar for jazz because I'm bored with Pippin. Jazz was fun. Damien is a funny person.
Math 30A: I know what I'm doing! Hallefrickinglujah.
Spare: I studied French and then I got bored so I read Prey. I also ate a bag of Thinsations and a bag of Goldfish. I'm surprised Lamers didn't notice. Or maybe he did and he just doesn't care. Everything was quiet and I was crunching really loud (I thought) but Lauren said it wasn't that loud.
That was my boring day. The days go by sooooooo fast but that's probably because school just started. Next semester I have:
Chem with Mr. Halyk. I think this is going to be like science was last year. I love balancing equations, which is so totally fun. Heidi's in this class, so if she says stuff like "take a gun and shoot it" it should be fun.
History with Mr. Halyk: Heidi, that dumbum got her history period switched, so I'm all by myself. Die Heidi. Die.
English with Mrs. Hack: We get to read To Kill a Mockingbird. I like Mrs. Hack, but I like Popo's English classes better because you don't do anything. No Shakespeare, but Stacey says you watch two movies, which should be interesting (not).
CS20: I have Heidi's stuff and Heidi's help so I'm feeling more optimistic that usual about this class. Anyway, you only do QBasic for a month or so (hopefully) and then Visual Basic, which Heidi says is easier, and then websites and PowerPoint.
IP: Another IP class with Mrs. Barber, the Queen of Nothing Classes.
Anyway, that is all for now. Ciao.
