So I have done nothing at all, as per usual. I mowed the lawn, that's about it. TV shows I watched today include: Law and Order: SVU, parts of Dr. Phil, parts of MuchOnDemand, Mysterious Ways, and Full House. I wish I had something deep and meaningful, but I can't muster the energy today. It's so hot and I'm so tired and I feel like crap. Amanda left today and I'm already missing her. Now I have no one to swim with.
I had a weird conversation with Devon from Wynyard yesterday...I always thought he didn't like me since apparently I'm "boring" but yesterday he told me he liked me. I was sure blindsided by that one.
I had an adventure yesterday. I put a floppy into the disk drive to see if there was anything on it and I tried to pull it out but it was stuck. So I pulled, and it came...minus that silver thing on top. So I tried to pull it out but I couldn't reach it, and I ran upstairs and got a pair of tweezers and tried to pull it out (I felt like a doctor at this point, with the tweezers and I stuck a pencil in to hold the flap open) but it moved backwards so that when the flap covering the drive was opened, it pinned the top of the silver thing to the top of the drive. So if I opened the flap I couldn't get it out, but I also couldn't touch it with the flap down. So in short, I had a hissy and was moving the tweezers randomly back and forth in the drive until I opened the flap and discovered I could get the silver thing out. After some maneuvering with my tweezers, I got it out and miraculously, the floppy drive was unharmed. I lead a charmed life sometimes.
Other than that interesting little tidbit...not much to say. A bitch came into the restaurant, but that's nothing new.
