Okay, here was my day today:
Science: got 91 on my test! W00t! We also played around with the microscope. My nail is black, Bryce's eyelash has layers (he actually pulled one out when we asked for one lol) and Tyler's snot rocket is just scary.
Math: did some geotrig assignment which was easy ha ha. I'm gonna ace the test on Tuesday. I am determined to not have to write the math final.
Info pro: had to write an essay about Christmas and one about anything. Was also talking to Ian at the same time and Heidi and I had a keyboard fight. She also injured herself which tells her not to mess with me.
English: um... we had to read some stories. Got 100 on a spelling test. Nothing really happened. I still have eyes on the back of my head from Heidi. They won't disappear.
Just read an interesting quote in a review of Fallen: "For Everybody's Fool she flies circles, like a bird of prey, above fierce string lashes, waiting to strike with an arena-pop chorus."
Anyway, in French we read some more of our play, and its DIRTY! The girl elves are striking because they have a smaller room to work in than the guys and they're forced to wear miniskirts. One naughty elf is like "but we like the miniskirts! We like to see the nice legs" and then in the stage directions it says "he reaches out and touches" or something, but we think he means the skirt (hopefully). Those French.
Well what else... it is finally finally the fricking weekend and I'm SO HAPPY!
I've been trying to burn cds and only one has worked so far out of like ten. sd;fklsdaasd.
Grrr.
Things to do this weekend:
Burn cds
Send Xmas cards to Carrie, Julie, Kaylianna, Janet, Kirsten, and Jessica.
Wrap presents.
Watch Evanescence dvd
Watch Spaceballs
Finish Xenocide and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy in five parts.
I'm reading cd reviews right now and one for Meteora (Linkin Park) sounded bad and then at the end it said they were one of the most talented bands out there. I'm confused.
"It's still impossible not to hear strains of Limp Bizkit, Korn, Rage Against the Machine, and the like. None of those acts, however, would try something as blatantly anthemic as "Easier to Run," which would sound fine to a Def Leppard fan, or as borderline danceable as "Breaking the Habit" and "Session." Linkin Park is what Trent Reznor was always afraid of becoming, but if you ever wished he would drop the pretenses and just make a hair-metal record, you'll find Meteora to your liking. This album simply defies the laws of music. Hybrid Theory proved to be an incredible debut album, and somehow, Linkin Park has followed it with an album of even more incredible sound! Meteora bears a resemblance to Hybrid Theory in some of the song structure, but when you break down the album song by song, you can see why Meteora is vastly superior to its predecessor. The guitar riffs are not plain, and a person has to be extremely talented to play their music. This band is probably the most talented rock band right now!"
Anyway, I guess I will go watch the Evanescence dvd. Ciao homies!
