Remembrance Day

Today was fun because I only went to two classes plus I did my math test. First was info pro, but I had to do my math test at 9:30 because of Remembrance Day stuff. Then at 10:15 the band warmed up, at 10:30 we did a read through and then hung out until 11 when the service started. I am happy to say I did my reading went perfectly. I didn't make eye contact with anyone because I was afraid I would lose my spot on the paper! So yeah. I was so nervous for Stacey when she had to do the Last Post...but she did it fine. Props to you Stachia!
Am listening to No Transitory and it says in the cd case that the lyrics are "and this knife this knife" but I think it sounds like "and this knife fresh blood" and it really freaks me out. Like when it says in some Beatles song "Paul is blooooody..." and at the end of Strawberry Fields Forever when it says "I buried Paul" but its actually saying cranberry sauce. Weird, I know.
There are a lot of songs about vampires. Like:
A Vampire's Lament-Atreyu
This is For Keeps-The Spill Canvas
Vampires Will Never Hurt You-My Chemical Romance
And some other song by Atreyu.

Anyhoo, this is a conversation Amanda and I had:
Me: I like my boots.
Amanda: You like your boobs????
Me: No, my boots!
Amanda: yeah, they're sweet. I like the hard ones.
Me: WHAT? Are you talking about boots or what?
I was confuzzled.
I didn't go to any music lessons today, guitar because of the service and piano because of the weather. It made me quite happy. Especially since I finished all my theory yesterday and don't have to do it for a whole week!
Ahhh...
I love Dallas Green's voice. Mmm...I really really want City and Color, which is his solo project which is more emoish and acoustic. Should be good. Also I want George and Wade's solo project, Black Lungs.
Anyway, that's enough of my rambling. I must go and tear ads out of magazines! I know that's what Katherine wants to do because she's my posse.
Toodles!
yay I'm back and editing for all you fans out there. I watched Moulin Rouge today! I was going to write a scathing review after I saw like fifteen minutes of it, but then it got way better and intense. The only stupid thing about it was that it was set in 1900 but had all these modern songs, like Lady Marmalade, I Will Always Love You, The Sound of Music, and Like a Virgin (which was the best part cuz this super fat guy was singing it)
Okay, so for all you people who don't know, Moulin Rouge is a theatre or something in Paris. A young writer named Christian is taken to Moulin Rouge (actually the beginning part is pretty sketchy and confuzzling for me. I didn't really get it) Anyway, eventually he falls in love with a (I think) prostitute named Satine who has TB or something. But this duke is in love with her too, and Satine makes him think she's in love with him so he can make her into a famous actress. Then the duke finds out she really loves Christian and Christian and Satine are going to run away from the duke but the duke threatens to kill Christian unless he goes away and never sees Satine again. So Satine drives Christian away and then like an idiot he comes back and this henchman is trying to kill him and he somehow gets on stage where the company is performing and everything is messed up and they have to ad lib and the henchman comes and gets taken out by a little dwarf dude and the gun goes flying towards the duke who tries to shoot Christian and the dwarf guy kicks then gun out of the duke's hand and the duke goes away and its a happy ending, except when Satine DIES!
Oops, did I just ruin it for everyone? Sorry. Not.
That was quite long. But it was a very enjoyable movie. It really amazed me that that really was Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman singing. Sweet.
Okay, was reading over my posts and ran across where I said something about Heidi and me burning Icarus. I was going to talk about that book later, but forgot apparently.
Anyway, I didn't read it, but its about kids who go into a parallel universe or something and it involves quite a lot of sex, with interesting wording, such as "like a bus drive on a disco floor, bumping and grinding gears"
And this author is a social worker.
That amazes me. Anyway, Heidi did a book review on it which was really funny and she told us all to burn it. Apparently she got it because of the cover. Tsk tsk Heidi.
Anyway, toodles.
