Wong and Chong are My Friends

I named my drumsticks. They were going to be Chang and Eng, but I decided to name them Chong and Wong instead because it sounds better. Chang and Eng are famous Siamese twins. The only twins I could think of were Chang and Eng and Mary Kate and Ashley. Or Shawn and Aaron Ashmore, but Chang and Eng sound funny. So does Wong and Chong.
So yeah. Now in drum lessons I am learning to play Me and the Moon by Something Corporate. I wanted to play Delirium Trigger but the cd didn't work in the stereo, so Something Corporate it is.
Anyway, funny things that happened...okay, Miss Menzie sent Pippin (my sax) away to be fixed since he has been broken (cuz I'm brooooken...) for awhile. So I was playing Mrs. Norman's but had to get a new reed and you have to break them in, as any normal reed player knows. I had to do a scale test though, and my reed wasn't working so I told her that and she was like "oh, its just the saxophone," and I was like "no, its the reed, cuz that always happens" and SHE WASN'T LISTENING TO ME! And Brittany (who plays flute, which DOESN'T HAVE A REED may I add) was like "why aren't you sucking on the reed?" I would like to know why she can't just keep her mouth shut as she doesn't know anything about reeds. And Miss Menzie was like "yeah, suck on it," and I wanted to just scream "I HAVE TO BREAK IT IN FIRST!" they wouldn't listen to me. I think I know what I'm talking about. I've been playing sax long enough. Whatever. Andra and Vicky think we should learnt to whittle reeds. That'd be sweet.
Okay, in my drum lesson she was asking me what beat the bass drum came in on, and I had no idea what she was asking. I don't think she put it in those words, because I remember it being quite confuzzling. It was really embarrassing. I got to play with Chong and Wong though (do not take that in the wrong way)
I want an electric guitar...and drums...and to see My Chemical Romance but my mom won't let me.
I have a math test which I'm going to fail. If I fail, will you all love me?
I knew you would.
I'm listening to a song by the Ramones but I don't think it is. By the Ramones, that is. It sounds like that weird guy that sings Mr. Custer.
Okay, I'm listening to Swing Life Away and it has the bass drum going on every beat, and it sounds like some scary person like Freddie Kreuger stomping to get me. I don't like it.
Video on Trial is on at 6 and Rock School at 7. Yay! I'm so excited. Monday is good for TV.
Martin Mystery is on in 7 minutes.
Okay, Mike (Swedish guy) and I are corresponding. Here is how our emails have gone so far:
Him: Who are you?
I didn't dignify that with an answer.
Him: You're Robin right?
Me: Yes I am.
Him: Cool.
Me: Apparently we are being set up. Tell me something about yourself.
Him: I'm 169 cm tall. I like hanging with friends. What about you?
I really wanted to know his height, but whatever.
Apparently this is all the matchmaking that is going to be done for me, as my two Yorkton contacts ARE WOEFULLY DISMALLY TALENTED IN THIS ARENA!
Anyway, gotta go. Martin Mystery is on. Ta!
Okay, I'm back. Martin Mystery was not on, which scared me for a sec. But I watched...what did I watch? I watched the end of Totally Spies and then 6teen, Born to Be, Video on Trial, Much 911, and then Rock School (those stupid English kids annoy me SO MUCH!!)
I want drums. I have piano lessons tomorrow and I didn't practice. Oops. Bad me. If I didn't want to get into university for music I would quit tomorrow. Or at least switch to someone else, but choices are woefully limited.
So yeah. George Logan was on Video on Trial again, which makes me happy.
So yeah. Wish me luck on my test. Ciao!
