Working at the Canteen

Yay, I worked at the canteen yesterday! Maria came over and went with me, and Zayne came to visit, and Tamara and Sam were there for quite a while. Things that I remember:
1. Maria scaring Sam by following her and then people looking at her weird.
2. Zayne shining the laser pointer in a scorekeeper's eyes (we were in a straight line from the scorekeepers and refs, and that laser pointer went way farther than I thought it would) I wanted him to get Mr. Ruetz in the eyes but he wouldn't.
3. These Quill Lake girls chatting with us. I was like "um, are you going to buy something?" but they're like "no, we don't have money." And Maria was showing them pictures of Major and showing them her bracelets.
4. Okay, first we had Mr. Farrell's and Mr. Halyk's sons (Josh and Jay) come to buy something, and then their other sons (Jake and Luke) and then their daughters (can't remember their names) and Mr. Farrell's daughter was like "she wants this, and she wants this" (referring to her friend) and it was so funny, and they were short fifteen cents and Mr. Anderson paid for them. And Jake and Luke wanted to get a Jones really bad, but apparently Royann (Luke's mom) would get mad at them but Jake, that little hell raiser, bought one anyway. Luke didn't want to, so he went to the bathroom, and Zayne was like "where did he go?" and Jake was like "he left because he doesn't want to be a part of this."
5. Okay, the FUNNIEST THING EVER! Zayne was like "wanna grab my chocolate bar?" and I was laughing so hard I cried and finally I was like "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!" and Maria didn't really laugh at the time but later she laughed her butt off.

So yes. That was how my day went. And the best part is I GET MONEY! It's only five bucks and hour, but money is money, especially when you are saving up for an electric guitar and a stereo.
I am suffering from Devon withdrawal and need to watch Much. Ciao!
Yay I'm back and editing, and I did see Devon for like three seconds but Mom wanted to watch a movie so I couldn't watch Much911 which he was hosting. Anyway, I found this really crappy review of North and it made me mad. http://www.411mania.com/music/reviews/article.php?reviews_id=2258
I thought North was way better and more mature than Leaving Through The Window and in fact I am sending the reviewer a mean email. It will be fun. I found a funny interview with The Rasmus. It was talking about their song Guilty, and they got the guys to tell what they are guilty of, and Aki was like "I love throwing fruit out the window on pedestrians. It's mean but fun." Katherine and Maria, we have to do that sometime!
Here is an excerpt from that Rasmus interview:

Pauli: “I performed in chicks' clothes”
Fashion sin: Today I'm thinking about the whole thing with horror, but during a festival in Finland we were performing in tight nurses' uniforms. We didn't wear anything underneath! Ugh…
Dreams about Britney: It may be a sin for a proper rock musician but I have to confess that Britney Spears is the woman of my dreams. At one of her concerts in Vienna we almost became one of her support acts. Unfortunately that didn't work out. I would have loved to get to know her…
Airs and Graces: When I was still a little boy, I always stubbornly had to get what I wanted. I would have gone over dead bodies for that. I used to be a proper diva. My parents really had a tough time with me! (laughs)

Here's ANOTHER crap review. Geez, what is wrong with people today? http://www.punkrocks.net/display_review.php?id=1011
Okay, here's a good review for One Fell Swoop:
***My Favorite Band Ever!*** After almost wearing out my copy of Sunsets and Car Crashes, I was very excited for One Fell Swoop to come out. It's very different from the previous CD, but it's still just as worth it. I have been listening to this almost nonstop in my car since I got it, and despite the slightly different sound, the lyrics are still amazing and the songs just...affect you. I don't know how to describe it, but The Spill Canvas just gives me a good feeling, no matter what mood I'm in. So, you should buy this, and if you don't have the other CD, buy that too, and you'll be on your way to becoming a Spill Canvas freak like me! And for some ratings...I'm not good at this so I'm not really going to rate them, just say my personal opinion
1) Lust A Prima Vista-I love it, it's catchy in a well...Spill Canvas sort of way 2
) Staplegunned-kind of the lead track of the CD, they already made a video for it-not my favorite, but still good
3)Polygraph, Right Now-GREAT song, one of my favorites, I love the way Nick sounds in this one
4)The Dutch Courage-also good, reminds me a little more of the old stuff
5)Natalie Marie and 1cc-well of course I like this one too!
6)Teleport A&B-decent song overall, but not amazing
7)Break a Leg-I like this one, it's really upbeat for them again and kind of catchy and then changes to the slower end part
8)This is For Keeps-very cool song, I love the lyrics and the sound, it's about a vampire!
9)Himerus and Eros-also a good song
10)Valiant )
11)Secret Oath ) I love all these too,but I'm sick of typing
12)Bound To Happen )
13)Self-Conclusion-The reason I gave some of the other songs mediocre feedback is because I didn't listen to them enough to like them because I spent all my time listening to this song. I LOVE THIS SONG! I love the way it sounds, and what it's about, and the movie theme storytelling thing behind it. It's awesome! This is The Tide of One Fell Swoop, it's a story song, but with a happier ending. It's such a true song though, and that's another reason why I love it.

And that is EXACTLY what I feel about the songs, except for Break a Leg which I absolutely can't stand. And what it says about Self Conclusion is what I would say about Dutch Courage. But other than that, this person wrote exactly what I would write!
Okay, gotta jet. Ciao!
