The Star Wars marathon WAS going in full swing, but Lindsay made me pause it so she could make jam or something. She's such a loser. I never realized how funny Star Wars was! And there's one part in the first one where the Storm Troopers are running into the room where C3P0 and R2D2 are and the one on the right hits his head. WATCH THAT PART! I had to keep rewinding like five times because it was so funny. Anyway, Robert is here and I can't remember how we started talking about it, but Lindsay was like "doesn't she look like Yoda? She looks like Yoda!" (and the sad part is, I think she was actually serious) and I was like "Yoda's cute!" and Robert was like "she looks more like Luke" and I was like "well, you look like Chewy," and Lindsay was like "at least it's something vaguely humanoid" and I was like "Luke is humanoid! And she's like "no, I mean Yoda isn't humanoid," and I was like to Robert "you look like Jabba" and then I told Lindsay she looked like a Tonton" (those things that live on Hoth)
Do I look like Yoda? Wait, don't answer that. Another funny part was when Han rescues Luke, and all of a sudden his Tonton just keels over. And I didn't remember this part from before, but apparently Han keeps Luke warm by slitting open the Tonton and sticking him in there.
What other parts...one part when Darth Vader is talking to some old guy and a younger guy, and there's a guy on the computer in the background, and Darth does his whole "crushing the trachea" routine and the younger guy just glances over as the old guy falls, and the guy on the computer just looks up and then goes back to what he was doing.
Since watching Episodes 1,2, and 3, I understand everything! Obi wan was telling Luke about his father and is like "Darth Vader betrayed and killed your father" because metaphorically he did!
The two droids make the show in the old movies. R2D2 is so cute! and C3P0 is so funny! I LOVE THEM! I want an R2D2 of my very own.
Anyway, Lindsay is done whatever she was doing, so I have to go finish my marathon. Woot!
