This morning I got out of the shower

Anyway, yesterday were SRC elections. Jonas didn't win. The person I didn't want to win won. That's the way life works, isn't it? Anyway, after elections Jessica came up to me and told she voted for Jonas. Imagine my surprise when I went to the potty and heard her come in and she was talking to the popular people and was like "I voted for Chad. Can you imagine Jonas? I mean...video games?" Or something to that effect. I was pissed off. I was going to burst out, but I wasn't done!! And then she left. Anyway, I'm not mad that she didn't vote for Jonas, but she actually SOUGHT ME OUT and lied to me (or she lied to them, I'm not sure). It's so stupid that she has to try to look cool. Whatever. Anyway, something funny...Phil was asking everyone if they voted for Carter, and all my friends said yes but he asked me and I'm like "no." He was a little thrown...apparently the idea that not everyone worships Carter never occurred to him yet. But he recovered and was like "you SUCK!" and I was like "you're an asshole!" I hate Phil, can you tell?
Danielle and I were talking about what cliques we're in. We decided that we're nerds, and Stacey is semi-cool, which means that she could be cool, she makes all the standards, but is uncool by association (association with US, may I add. Hee hee hee) So anyway, Danielle asked why I am a nerd when I dress cool, and I was like "I don't know" So then she told me that she didn't think I was a nerd. I was emo. Yay!!! I'm emo!!! The only one of my kind at my school!!!
Yesterday was Color Day. It's so stupid that we have to sit through two hours of awards, when 80% of the time you can tell who's going to get them anyway! Let's have a little variety shall we? My brother and I were talking about the difference between nerd and geek. Let's clarify it for everyone:
Nerds are the "brains." They like school and do their homework and whatever. They are also the people who like different things that other people...sixties music, or reading or whatever. They are also cooler than geeks.
Geeks have many subtypes. Techno geek, D&D geek, video game geek, whatever. They are less liked.
It is easy to mistake them for each other. Myself, as an observer of high school cliques and groups am adept at telling the difference, if I may flatter myself.
